Food Glorious Food

Food plays a huge role in our lives, particularly because my other half and my boys have specific dietary requirements. Some days I cook meals that we can all eat and some days we eat different things, here you'll find photographs and recipes (some with complete directions) of what fills the tummies in the Dizzy house. We eat a mostly veggie diet but aren't totally vegan, fish and dairy are included so the 'Other Half' doesn't fade away completely (read the Dizzy History).

Roast Butternut Squash  & Ginger Soup

This delicious soup was inspired by a juice I had years ago from a small Indian takeaway deli in London, whilst I was doing a shoe making course.

The mix of carrot, orange and fresh ginger  root was addictive, and using home grown squash with the carrot ticks so many boxes on the "yumminess" scale!  This soup gets a huge thumbs up from everyone in the house.
